Feedback: Game Header Artistic Re-Design.

Feedback is welcome and encouraged on design and functionality!

Redesigning the game’s most dominant global element is one of the major steps we’re taking in evolving Mafia Wars to the next level. Our goal was to deliver the most relevant functionality in the clearest way possible for our users (new and experienced).
Our focus is on game play (what really matters when playing), viral interactions, and enabling future features/functionality. This is really the foundation for many more things that are coming for the header itself, the homepage, and the game in general.

• We are exploring the option of being able to toggle the numeric value for stats making it permanent unless someone toggled it back to the bar
• Players will wonder where the inventory link lives. It lives under profile and I think the big message here is that we have some big things planned (complete overhaul) for the profile and inventory sections of the site
• Mini-Games will indeed house more than just Daily Chance. Slots will be the first addition to this tab
• We will also be visually branding the header for each city so it’s more distinct based on your location as we do today. Initially that’ll be a color shift in the middle and bottom sections of the header
• One of the main reasons for this header is that it sets us up for some planned future functionality like "active buffs" and other viral functions.
  We’re also planning an addition to the header which is a sliding tray coming from the bottom of the header that highlights your game progress and points you to the next best relevant action(s) to take in the game.
• The header is also very complimentary to our news maps based jobs interface
